“Noshiro Space Event” is the competition held in in Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture. It is the competition that the accuracy of automatic guiding to head for the turget is contested. One's own small satellite is lifted up to 80〜130 meters high with a balloon and released. Then the satellite heads for the turget from sky by itself. 　 2007 : First prize won in this competition. 　 2008 : Third prize won in this competition.

Noshiro Space Event “CanSat Fly Back Competition”

ARLISS(A Rocket Launch for Imternational Student Satellites) is the competition held in Black Rock Desert, Nevada, in the U.S. 　In this competiton, the accuracy of automatic guiding to head for the turget is contested. One's own satellite that the size of it is a can is launched into adout 4 kilometers high and released.Then the satellite heads for the turget from sky by itself. 　Last year, our team was composed of six members and had the first flight in ARLISS.

	In 2003, the team of "KITCUTS" was formed by students in order to practice many knowledge and skill learned at university. 　KITCUTS have aimed to appear on the Contest of Human-powered Aircraft. In 2004, KITCUTS appeared on the contest for the first time. In 2005 and 2007, 2008, they appeared on the contest. 　They will appeared on the contest next year.
We have supported their challenging from forming the team and cooperated on the part of skill.

	The exhibition of department of mechanical and control engineering helds on our campus festival. 　 We join this festival. Two years ago, we made the pitching machine that is able to throw a Gyro-ball. Last year, we made a submarine-style pitching machine and held the batting event.

In experience lecture of Ministry of Education, our school put experience lecture for junior high-school studentsin execution. 　Two years ago, we held "Egg Drop". Egg Drop is the conpetition that an egg is droped from a high altitude and broken. 　This year, we held the lecture of "Mystery of air 〜 immediate sonic boom". In the lecture, immediate sonic booms were observed by schlieren method and high-speed camera.
